1st of three FREE MRA Educational Series Interactive Webinars now Available on MRA Website
The Marine Recreation Association’s first (of many) Educational Series, ZOOM webinars was a resounding success with critical information for the marine industry and enthusiastic participation.
Webinar #1, presented by Robert Newsome, Senior Vice President of Operations for the National Marine Manufacturers Association, covered the Economic Impact of the Marine Industry and Boating in California and took place via ZOOM webinar on October 6th.
“Robert’s presentations are very informative and helpful to determine the economic impact of boating in local markets,” Said Stephan Popescu, Los Angeles County Dept. of Beaches and Harbors. “He presents the market data and analysis in a way that is very easy to understand, broken down by different market sectors. He is a pleasure to listen to and always informative.”
Kate Pearson, Safe Harbor Marinas added, “this first seminar included high quality content, and Robert and the NMMA team presented user-friendly market statistics and forecasts; a must see for marina owners and operators. The MRA is presenting some terrific educational opportunities, and I am very excited about the rest of the coming seminars”
MRA Members and others who were not able to attend the live webinar may review the video and PowerPoint presentation Economic Impact of the Marine Industry and Boating in California on the MRA website at www.marina.org.
