SOS: California Employers’ 9-Step Compliance Blueprint For New Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Safety Standard

The Cal/OSHA Standards Board recently approved an emergency regulation imposing new obligations on California employers related to COVID-19 prevention. This represents the most far-reaching formal rule-making by Cal/OSHA on COVID-19 and may be a preview of rule-making we can expect at the federal level under a Biden Administration. California employers did not have much time to comply with the new requirements – it became effective December 1, 2020. This webinar will educate you on these significant new requirements and steps you should immediately undertake to ensure compliance. This emergency standard is a significant game-changer, so this is one you will not want to miss.

Capturing the "Boating Boomers" - How to Win Over and Delight the Next Generation of Boaters

In the wake of covid-19, more people than ever before are taking to the water for recreational and social activity. While this is an absolute win for the boating industry, it won't be "business as usual" attracting these boaters to your business. In this webinar, members of the Dockwa team will share strategies on how to cater to younger and less-experienced boaters to ensure they become both lifelong boaters and, hopefully, lifelong customers.

Navigating the Copper Paint Regulations and Charting a Course of Survival for the Marina Operator/Owner.

Copper antifouling paint (AFP) controls are being prioritized in the Nonpoint Source Implementation Plan (NPS Plan)developed by the State Water Resources Control Board and the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board.
If the AFP controls are applied as suggested, the costs and administrative burden on cities, marina owners, and marina operators in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties will impact the industry and potentially drive MRA members out of business or out of recreational boating.
This presentation will summarize the range of compliance requirements and related costs that responsible parties may incur, should the new controls be implemented as suggested. Dr. Anghera provides a unique understanding to the AFP issues and assisted MRA in the development of formal comments to the State Board related to these pending regulations earlier this year.
